August "Guns Welcome" Sign Giveaway

I commented on this sign last December, and came across it again recently during my random internet travels. Given so many recent events in our country pointing out the absurdity of "gun free" zones, I realized I'd like to see the sign posted in more places.

To that end, I'm holding another giveaway. I have one copy of this sign I purchased from ComplianceSigns.com which will be awarded to one lucky reader. The sign is aluminum and measures 10x7 inches.

How It Works: Any qualified reader who posts a comment on this post, or on any post on the Musings, between now and the contest end will be put down for one entry in a random drawing. Sorry, one entry per person. Please continue to comment regularly, but let's keep it to one contest entry per person. The contest will end at 10:00PM EDT on August 31, 2012. I'll randomly select one winner from all entries made up until that time.

Fine Print: The sign will only be mailed to U.S. addresses. Feel free to enter no matter where you live, but if you can't provide a U.S. shipping address, I'll pick another winner. I must be able to contact the winner, so anonymous entries are problematic. I'll make a reasonable effort to contact and verify the winner, but if I can't find an easy way to contact you, I'll pick another.

Compliance Signs is not a sponsor nor connected to this contest. The sign and mailing costs are provide at my expense. Because I like you folks. :-)

  1. Ok, but if I win, I want my goods delivered in person and over a beer.

  2. Yeah, I'm with AGAHG. I want my sign hand-delivered with a cold one.

Make mine Miller Lite though. Just seeing you order a Miller Lite in public would make my day. :)

  10. The only thing missing is a pouch for toe tags and white chalk for outlines and you've got yourself one full-fledged violence abatement kit. It would be nice to feel safe without the need for weapons, but our liberties are being denied by a firearm, but by mindless distraction and apathy toward corruption. We must demand our rights or they are already gone. 2nd amendment rights are no different than assembly and free speech rights nor free press or religion. But it is hard to think someone out of owning a weapon where other rights can be signed away for money or convenience. But believing the lies and being stolen from by currency devaluation and insider manipulations of markets and commodities is cause for armed revolution, not against the government primarily but the banks and landholders that control who has and who has not. Our vote is a fraud, our leaders are not, our prosperity has been stolen and our citizens are asleep to their demise in their desperate attempt at survival. We must organize and educate one another against tyranny, we must vote with our currency and our loyalties to corporate commerce that bleeds our national human resources for greed. Eat, drink, act and buy local products and services, reduce your needs and wasted resources.

  11. It's too bad that you need to give this away and that there is anywhere left WITHOUT this sign. My family has had to unholster their weapons in our small business before. This sign will be displayed there if I end up with it.
