December Giveaway

We've got another fun prize lined up for the December Giveaway. This month's prize is provided by Awesomedeals911, providers of cool gifts, including many beer-related items. They are donating an Officially Licensed Brooklyn Brewery Bar Stool.

To enter, simply contribute a comment to any post on this blog throughout the month of December and you will be entered into a drawing for the Brooklyn Brewery Bar Stool. I'll select one entry at random at the end of the month. Each accepted and published comment in December will be counted as an entry in the drawing.* It's that simple. Awesomedeal911 will ship the bar stool directly to the winner. Enjoy, and good luck.

Update, January 1: and the winner is ...

  1. Cracked open Saranac 12 beers of winter tonight. All very good for the price in my opinion. I enjoyed the India Brown Ale the most...so far.

  2. They also donated one of these to Ratebeer a while back. I missed out on that one, so hopefully my luck will run better this time. Good to see they're not just spreading craft beer cheer to the big guys.

  3. Nice idea for a contest David. I've got just the place for that barstool, right next to my new homebrew equipment. Would give me something to sit on outside while I boil my brew.

  4. I'd have to agree with ChipperDave, this would be great to sit on by the Kettle.... while drinking a cold Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout no less - Yum!

  5. Great contest David.
Growing up in Upstate NY, Brooklyn Brewery was one of the breweries I 'cut my teeth' on. This stool would look nice with me sitting on it and drinking a Local 1.

  6. I guess I'll have to make more comments this month, (this one puts me over last month's total). I figures since I enjoy so much beer with you the least I can do is drop a comment or two.

  7. This would go great with the boil kettle and the brookln brown tap handle that despenses my homebrew

  8. Thanks for putting this on. Would surely give me something to brag about when I have get-togethers while making some homemade beer. Will have to find some good New York clones.
