I first wrote about the Charlottesville Beer Trail last year.
See the Washington Post article, Virginia Is Also for Beer Lovers, here.
Ramblings on shooting sports, craft beer, whiskey, cigars and other simple pleasures.

Very interesting article....
ReplyDeleteSo after my trip through the North East last week visiting various brew pubs my friend and I are looking for another trip like that. I am thinking maybe a Beer Trail through the mountains might not be a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteThat little route 151 is quite impressive indeed. Blue Mountain and Devil's Backbone are 13 miles apart. 4 miles or so from DBBC between the two is the best mead I've ever tried and some damn good fruit wines (Hill Top Berry Farm & Winery). And there are 3 or 4 conventional wineries as well.
